Chief hygienist Covid-positive, Minister of Health in quarantine

Jarmila Rážová, Czechia's chief hygienist, has tested positive for the coronavirus after experiencing flu-like symptoms on Tuesday evening.

In recent days, Rážová has met a number of people from the Ministry of Health - including Minister Adam Vojtěch (independent/ANO), who is in quarantine.

He is the second member of the government who is currently in isolation. The Minister of Industry and Trade who is also the Minister of Transport, Karel Havlíček (independent/ANO), is working from home after meeting an infected person last week.

On the other hand, the hygienists decided that Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) did not have to quarantine, even though he attended a meeting with Rážová yesterday, because he sat far enough from her and wore an FFP2 respirator.
