The Canary Islands will be dropped from the list of "green countries" on the travel traffic light which means some measures will be introduced for traveling from this destination. The archipelago belonging to Spain will be eliminated from the list of safe countries by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with effect from 14 September.

Another country subject to restrictions is Romania. In addition, the ministry does not recommend a trip to France due to an increase of cases. On the contrary, for example, Italy is without restrictions, as is Croatia, in which, according to the authority's recommendations, tourists should avoid mass events.

Moreover, as the situation is getting worse in the Czech Republic as well, Germany is considering that people from Prague or the whole of the Czech Republic would have to quarantine for five days when they arrive. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Martin Smolek told the Czech Radio today.
