Covid tests for everyone?

According to the Minister of Health, Roman Prymula (for ANO), there are plans to test almost everyone in Czechia for Covid-19 at the same time.

The Ministry of Health is coordinating the plans with general practitioners. The testing could reveal 90 to 93 percent of all infections in the country. According to Prymula, right now there are many times more infected people than the tests are detecting.

So-called antigen tests should be used, which do not need to be done in a laboratory. It is necessary to get a sufficient number of testing kits first. Prymula said that if the project succeeds, he can imagine the testing to start within 14 days.
