First snow appeared last weekend in Jeseníky Mountains. Last night, ten centimeters fell in the mountains and made travelling a bit more complicated. Temperatures fell to minus one degree Celsius.

Heavy vehicles were unable to reach the hills and the main road from Šumperk to Jeseník was closed on Monday morning.
It should also start heavy raining on Monday. Mostly in the eastern half of the territory, meteorologists expect a possible increase in river levels. Rain should be most pronounced on streams in the Odra, Upper Moravia and Bečva river basins.
Water in riverbeds is forecast to increase even on the night from Monday to Tuesday, mainly in the northeast of the territory.
The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute has issued a preliminary warning since midnight, according to which the first degree of flood activity can be reached on some streams.
