Highest numbers of Covid-19 cases in the EU
On Thursday, laboratories in the Czech Republic confirmed about 2,500 more cases of coronavirus than a week ago. There have been more than ten thousand new cases of the disease for the third time in a row, and over 1,200 people are in serious condition in hospitals. The reproductive number, which shows how many people get infected with one positive test, has also risen, to 1.15 out of 1.10 on Thursday. The Czech Republic has the most new cases in the EU in a fortnight, while in most countries the growth has slowed down.

The government will not open all stores from Monday. According to the Minister of Industry and Trade Karel Havlíček (for ANO), the pandemic situation is not good enough. However, he wants to reopen the topic next week.
New measure - respirators in busy places
From Monday, people will have to wear FFP2 respirators, nano masks or two surgeon masks in places with lots people - the list of places will be further specified, according to a member of Parliament, Dominik Feri (TOP 09).
Prymula ends as the Prime Minister's adviser after his attendance at the a football match

Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) ended his cooperation with his adviser and former Minister of Health Roman Prymula due to Prymula's participation in a football match on Thursday. The Prime Minister stated this on Facebook. Prymula said that the participation of spectators in football was allowed, that he had a negative test for coronavirus before the event and that he had a respirator in the stands. The chairman of the board of SK Slavia Prague, Jaroslav Tvrdík, apologized on Friday for inviting VIP guests.
