Covid update
Tests on Thursday confirmed new 13,231 covid-19 cases, which is about 2,500 less than on Wednesday and about the same as a week ago. The daily increase in Prague has remained below one thousand for the sixth day in a row. There were 885 more infected on Thursday, which is 446 less than a week ago.

Patients transfered from Zlín to Prague
Five patients with coronavirus connected to artificial lung ventilation will be transported by ambulances from three hospitals in the Zlín Region to the Prague Hospital in Motol this morning. Ambulances from the rescue service will take patients from Zlín, Uherské Hradiště and Kroměříž, the cars will go together, and they will also have a police escort.
Hockey games to return after a month

The hockey extra league will start again at the weekend after a one-month break. The clubs agreed on an extraordinary general meeting to restart the competition. The relaunch of the year will bring additional financial costs.
The debate at the general meeting was mainly about how to test players and implementation teams. Due to the postponement of a large number of matches, it is very likely that it will be played three times a week. The original plan was to test all participants before each match.
The new building law
The new building law was moved by the Chamber of Deputies for further discussion. The opposition wanted to return it to the government for reworking, the coalition with the help of the Communists and the SPD reversed this effort. The new law is supposed to speed up and simplify the construction process from the new paragraphs.
According to the World Bank, the average length of construction proceedings in the Czech Republic currently lasts 246 days. According to Ondřej Boháč, director of the Institute of Planning and Development of the Capital City of Prague, the law could jeopardize tens of billions of Prague investments.
