Shops, public transport, schools outside of classes - in all indoor places people will have to wear masks. The measure will come into effect in two weeks, said the Minister of Health Adam Vojtěch (ANO). However, the quarantine time will shorten from two weeks to ten days, and a test will not be requested before the end of quarantine.

With a start of a new school year, two million more travelers will be using the public transport. Social distancing will be more complicated and buses, trams and trains will be fuller. This is one of the main reasons why the Ministry of Health wants to return to wearing masks indoors.
Masks will be mandatory in shops, post offices, indoor events but also in intercity public transport. Even students will have to use them - not in classes but in corridors and meeting places. Quarantine time will be reduced from 14 days to ten days and final test before the end of quarantine will not be necessary.
New vaccine against both flu and coronavirus is being developed by the Charles University these days. The University Rector Tomáš Zima said, that approximately in the middle of September, the vaccine might be available on the market. University also offered its service in case of need for more testing in September. It can test about a thousand people a day as it did in spring.
