NATO and US Navy interested in Czech respirator

Czech respirator developed by Czech Technical University in Prague during coronavirus crisis has recieved a European certificate. It opens possibilities for world markets and has already attracted attention in the US Navy and NATO, developers say.

This type of respirator enables the highest possible protection and meets strict criteria is designed for 3D print. It can reused. The original prototype of this mask was developed by experts within one week in March. Now, the data for printing are available free for anyone with 3D printer. Almost hundred of institutions and companies have already downloaded the data, including Mayo Clinic - the biggest hospital specialized on clinical research .

The respirator has become one of the few protective products in the world which succeeded during the coronavirus crisis. The certification is valid not only for European market but also for the world one. It is therefore another forward to get the neccessary equipment to hospitals and workers in services.
