Due to the worsened epidemic situation and new government measures, Czech Railways will adjust the operation of long-distance and regional trains.

In the coming days, for example, Czech Railways will reduce traffic on long-distance lines from Prague to Hradec Králové, Brno, České Budějovice and Děčín. Traffic will also be reduced in local transport in Prague, Central Bohemia, Pardubice, Hradec Králové, Moravia-Silesia and Vysočina, the state carrier announced today. According to the carrier, the number of regular train communters has halved.

From the 19th of October, in addition to long-distance lines from Prague, the reduction will also affect connections in the sections Kolín - Ústí nad Labem, České Budějovice - Jihlava - Brno and Ostrava - Čadca. Passengers can find a complete list of individual routes on the website.
