Pompeo meets President Zeman

Economic and security cooperation - the two main topics that Miloš Zeman wants to discuss with the US Minister of Foreign Affairs on todays meeting. Mike Pompeo has already spoken to the Prime Minister Babiš (ANO) and Minister Petříček (ČSSD). The main topic was Russian and Chinese influence and cyber security.

Pompeo meets Babiš and Zeman at the Prague Castle and the meeting will take approximately 20 minutes. Before the Minister's arrival, about 20 gathered in front of the gates to protest against President Zeman and minister Babiš. Their banners were warning Pompeo in English not to trust the Czech leaders.

Czech Republic is Pompeo's first destination on his tour through the Central Europe. After leaving the country he will also visit Slovenia on Thursday and then Austria and Poland.
