The European Global Navigation Satellite Systems Agency (GSA), which is based in Prague, will soon transform into a new EU space agency.

The European Union decided to expand the GSA last year. The GSA is responsible for managing the Galileo navigation system and is the only EU agency based in the Czech Republic.
It will be rebranded as the EU Agency for the Space Programme in January 2021. After the transformation, the agency staff will increase from the current 200 to around 600 people.
That is why the agency is now running a contest to refurbish and upgrade its headquarters in Prague. In addition to new offices and meeting rooms, it also needs extra laboratories and other facilities.
