Prague public transport reduced from Monday

Due to the overnight curfew, Prague public transport will switch to its nighttime schedule earlier starting Monday, November 2.

The last metro trains will leave the terminal stations two hours earlier than before - between 22:00 and 22:05. Also from Monday, metro intervals during peak times will be 10 to 45 seconds longer because of lower demand.

The tram intervals during morning peak hours will increase to 10 minutes, with the exception of lines 9, 17 and 22, which will have an interval of 5 minutes. The night trams will start operating earlier - between 22:00 and 22:30 - and will run every half hour.

The first night buses will also depart at this time. However, night suburban lines will be cancelled, with the exception of lines 951 and 953. There will also be some changes in railway operations - the capacity of selected trains will be reduced.

According to the Prague Integrated Transport Facebook, the new timetables are being prepared and should be available on Monday.
