New highway tickets in a digital format

In less than a month, Czechs will be able to buy a new motorway stamp for the year 2021. This time no longer on paper, as has been the case for a quarter of a century since 1995, but for the first time in electronic form. According to Minister of transport Havlíček, the e-vignette system will start exactly according to the plan - on the 1st of December. However, there is still a problem with vehicles for disabled people, due to which it is not yet possible to launch an automated search and fine those who do not have the stamp.

Press conference on the e-vignette system will be held today at 12:30. More information about the system in English is available HERE.
