People aged 40 to 44 will be able to register for vaccination from midnight on Sunday - GPs to get the Moderna vaccine for their patients.

After that, the vaccinations should open for everyone aged 16 to 39. When that happens, the government will know how many people in total are interested in getting the jab - and plans to adjust the vaccination campaign accordingly. We wrote about the Czechs' interest in the vaccine here.
In addition to vaccination centres, people can also visit their GPs who have been plagued by shortages of the doses. This should be solved by re-routing the Moderna vaccines from smaller vaccination centres to the GPs. So far, they have mainly received the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
To date, about 217,000 people are still waiting to book their appointment at their doctor's office. Petr Šonka, the chairman of the Association of General Practitioners expects that they should receive 454,000 Moderna doses in May and June.
