Covid update
The number of new coronavirus infections rose to 12,088 on Tuesday, about 3,500 fewer infected than a week ago, when laboratories uncovered the most positive tests since the start of the epidemic.

Some hospitals are full. For example, the Regional Hospital in Karviná had to reduce care. Due to a lack of staff, it closed the internal medicine and does not accept new patients from the emergency services. The department will be closed at least until Monday. The private Karviná Mining Hospital will help with patient care.
Testing of seniors start
On Wednesday, the testing of seniors in nursing homes and other social services facilities will come into force on Wednesday. Tests should be repeated every five days for clients and staff. They will be performed by paramedics. The first examination should take place no later than seven days, ie next Wednesday.
River levels higher than usual
The levels of several rivers in the Pardubice region and in the Vysočina region, after frequent rains, exceeded their usual levels. The second degree - emergency level - was in place on Wednesday at 12:00 in Novohradka in Úhřetice.

According to the warning of meteorologists, rivers can rise in the Vysočina region mainly in the vicinity of Chotěboř until Thursday morning. In the morning, firefighters in the region did not report any trips on the site due to water. They removed trees from roads in several places.
