The Ministry of Health has previously stated that it will propose to the government to relax the measures if the score is kept below 75 by Wednesday. The worst situation in the Czech Republic remains in the Vysočina region. The best situation is in in area around Rakovník which is followed by Prague.

Some children are returning to schools

After about a month's break, first and second grade students return to primary schools. After two weeks, special schools are also opening. From this Wednesday, individual consultations should also be possible at primary and secondary schools. Masks are mandatory everywhere in schools. Singing and physical training are prohibited. Classes will not be divided into smaller groups as in the spring, but students from different classes should not meet.

Weddings, funerals, shops and restaurants

From Wednesday, people can do sports outdoors. 15 people can also attend weddings, funerals or services, so far it has been ten. The government decided to adjust these measures on Monday.

Restaurants can provide take-away services longer from Wednesday. The current interval has been extended by two hours, from 5:00 to 21:00. However, from November 18, there is a new limit on the number of customers allowed in stores - no more than one person per 15 square metres. Detailed information on this new measure is HERE.

Buildings lit in red, blue and white

Yesterday, people were remembering events from the years 1939 and 1989 (find more information about the historical events HERE). Dozens of buildings in the country became lit in Czech national colours after dark. In Prague, for example, the Petřín Tower, the Žižkov Tower, the Dancing House, Prague Castle and the Rudolfinum were illuminated with national colours. In the rest of the republic, for example, the Old Town Hall in Tábor, the Brno Mahen Theater, the Horácké Theater in Jihlava or the New Town Hall in Ostrava were lit. Also, Niagara Falls in North America commemorated this important day of the Czech history.
