Czech lorry drivers will not come in time for Christmas

Most of the Czech trucks that got stuck in Great Britain after the border was closed will probably not have time to return to the Czech Republic on Christmas Day. The association of road hauliers Česmad Bohemia is trying to negotiate an exception for drivers from the rules of driving and rest periods, as well as from driving bans, in order to speed up their transfer as much as possible. People in Britain are helping the lorry drivers and bringing them food and water supplies as they are stuck in Britain.
